Aliya is professional violinist from Kazakhstan. She studied at the National Kazakhstan Conservatory which is considered a prestigious music institution. Having grown up in a musical family where her father is a guitarist, her mother is a soloist within a choir and her sister is also a violinist. She is a born and bred musician and that is why, when she is performing, the audience can feel her passion. Aged just 6 she started to learn violin in Russia and very soon discovered she enjoyed being on stage and her natural enjoyment and comfort of performing shines through. Early in her childhood she joined a big pop symphony children’s orchestra where she learnt to play many styles such as classical, jazz and pop.

Following that she helped form a girls band in Almaty, playing their own compositions where they performed on many different stages and festivals of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. This was a big success and they became famous not only in Kazakhstan but musicians from many countries including USA wanted to collaborate with them. The band where considered talented, beautiful and a delight to watch. The band grew to include rhythm section, drums, rhythm and bass guitar. Their performances allowed the audience to dance, sing and enjoy popular songs.

That success and talent has given her the opportunity to play around the world. She started to travel and found out more and more music from different cultures such as India, Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Nepal. She is constantly growing and developing skills in improvisation, whilst ensuring she doesn’t leave the classic foundation because she loves to play like soloist with felicity orchestra – the wonderful orchestra of UAE!

Her repertoire is growing and she is performing different styles of music such as (pop, classic, evergreen, tango etc…)
